MEK,2-butanone,is colourless and transparent liquid.The smell is similar to acetone.It is also excellant organic and low boiling pointsolvent with good properties,It is extensively used in refinary,fuel,paint,bondant,medicine,dewaxing of lubricant and cleaning of electricalelements.It also can be used in extracting of plant and constant boiling distillation.Being a kind of important fine chemical material,MEK can produce antioxidant,celluiose nitrate,alcohol acid resin and tapes.
