*Application in plastics
Oxen pearl luster pigments are suitable for transparent or transluscent
plastics. Since Pearl Pigment is an internal optical phenomenon,
high clarity plastics (PVC, Polystyrene,Acrylics,etc.) give
the most striking results. Transluscent plastics(Polypropylene,
Polyethylene, etc), though possessing some degree of milkiness,
also yield attractive products. Other transparent pigments could
be blended with Oxen pigments for use in plastics. Opaque pigments
will diminish pearl luster effects while used.
Normal pearl luster pigments concentration
The normal concentration of Pearl Luster Pigments incorporated
into plastics is 0.5-1.5%, excluding special cases. The
thicker the sheet thickness or moulded products are, so
the concentration of the Pearl Luster Pigments requirement
will be lower. The thinner the product, the higher the
pigment concentration needed. However, please note that
too high a concentration of them does not increase the
pearl luster effect On the contrary it will cause a poor
effect.
*APPLICATION
IN PAINTS
Oxen pearl luster pigments possess physical stability and can
be used in water-based, solvent- based paints and powder
coatings . Pearlescent paints can be prepared by incorporating
the proportioned amount of pearl pigments into a clear lacquer
or clear powder coating, this is the same for an enamel. Pearl
luster pigments are supplied in various grades and each leads
to a particular effect. A suitable grade should be selected
according to the application. Pearl luster pigments are suitable
for electrostatic coating. In addition they have good acid and
alkali resistance.

pigments. There are various to choose from according to particle
size range and should be selected according to the individual
printing process. Pearl luster inks can be easily prepared,
by the incorporation of pearl luster pigments into the ink medium.

many kind of pearl lustre packing paper. Pearl lustre
effects with colors of silver white, golden, rainbow,
special polychrome pearl lustre effects are available.
Oxen pearl lustre pigments are added in the sizing process:add
3-5%(weight rate) Oxen pearl lustre pigments to transparent
sizing agent to have special color effects.
Oxen pearl lustre pigments are added in the Beating Process:Add
Oxen pearl pustre pigments to the pulp, then beating the
pulp according to the process requirements to achieve
designed effect.
*Application
in leather
Oxen pearl luster pigments applid to leathers and PU/PVC
synthetic leathers can be directly blent into inks to
use for printing on surface, also it can be added directly
to transparent plastic resins to use for rolling and scraping
production.

in Cosmetics
Oxen Pearl Lustre Pigments are suitable to be used in
lipstics, eyes-shadpws, nail polishes, make-up powders,
etc.Heavy metal contents are well controlled and qualified
in conformlity to cosmetics standardRequirements.

1. Oxen products can't be stirred in high speed blender for
a long time.
2. Oxen products can't be pressed and grinded at high-pressure.
