Furfural
♦Introduction
Furfural is light yellow to amber transparent liquid. If it
is exposed in air, it can become chocolate brown liquid. It
has the odor of almond benzaldehyde.If it is exposed in air
& light, it can become red brown. It is an important chemical
material
♦Uses
Mainly used in the production of furfuryl alcohol, it can
be used as auxiliary to produce rubber accelerator, antiager
of rubber and plastic, and antiseptic. Moreover, it is widely
used in food, flavor, dye and paper.

Packing
Sealed, kept in 240 kg or 250 kg enclosed steel barrel, the
thickness of wall should be not less than 1.25mm.
♦Storage
Sealed, kept in cool and ventilating place. far away from
fire and heat. Do no mix with air, oxidant, alkali and edible
chemicals. It should not be kept in large quantity or long
time. The light and ventilating facilities should be anti-explosive.
Do not used facilities that may produces spark. The warehouse
should be equipped with anti-leakage tools.
