Betaine is a quaternary ammonium alkaloid; white crystalline powder. It is soluble in water and ethanol, insoluble in aether, trichloromethane; it is hygroscopic.

7. Mechanism and Efficacy:
• Betaine is a multi-functional amino acid feed additive. It can allot the energy and nutrition in the body of livestock, poultry, aquatic products and so on, make a better distribution of acetone body fat, promote the metabolism of fat, and improve the proportion of lean meat and the quality of acetone body. If added in chicken feed, the quality of acetone body and quantity of pectoral muscle of meat-chicken can be improved.
• Betaine is an efficient methyl group donor which can substitute methionine and choline partially, modulate the osmotic pressure in animal body, maintain and stabilize the ionic balance and digesting enginery in intestinal tract, reduce diarrhoea, enhance immunity, and ease up the stimulation greatly. It may also improve the animal's adaptability to environment changes such as cold, torridity and illness etc.
• Betaine has a synergy effect on anticoccidial drugs, it can improve the curative effect of anticoccidial drugs.
• Betaine is a strong feed attractant, which has a strong feed attraction effect on aquatic product. It can increase food intake and shorten the time of it. Feed wasting and water pollution can also be reduced.
• Betaine is natural feed antimildew agent, which has an antibacterial effect on Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis, staphylococcus aureausa and aspergillus Niger.
• Betaine is a highly active biologic nutriment, which can enhance the stability of vitamins, prevent fat-soluble vitamins (VA, VD, VE and Vk) from oxidation so as to protect their valence.

9. Package:
This product is double-sealed with the inner polyethylene plastic bag and outer woven plastic bag. A copy of the product instruction is in the package. Net weight 25kg±0.25kg per bag, or packaged according to users requirements. A sign or label which observes GB10648 standard is attacked on the package.
10. Transportation and Storage:
Be sure to be stored in cool, dry and draughty places, no more than twelve months. Avoid breaking the package, exposing to moisture, rain or sunlight during transportation. Stored and transported with toxic, harmful or corrosive chemicals or any other pollutive substances are prohibited.
