Hubei Research and Design Institute of Chemical Industry is affiliated
to Wuhan Institute of Technology. Located in Guanshan Avenue in the central
region of Wuhan Optical Valley, Hubei Province Chemical Industry Research & Designing
Institute is comprehensive and specialized research and designing organization,
with application chemistry, research and development, engineering consultation,
information service, product inspection and energy-saving assessment as main
activities. We now have 180 employees, including 12 professors (senior engineers)
and 63 technicians (with senior technical titles); 30 of them have the national
registration certificates of China, one is a national grade expert with outstanding
contributions, 6 are experts enjoying the State Council benefits of China,
3 are province- grade experts with outstanding contributions, and 2 are experts
enjoying the government benefits of Hubei province. In 2010, Hubei Province
Human Resource & Social Security Bureau and Hubei Province Postdoctoral
Management Committee Office established their postdoctoral research stations
in our institute.
Our institute has experienced great development in past 30 years. Up to now, we have become a specialized R&D organization and a provider of technical service, and achieved great successes in the fields of lubrication materials and auxiliaries of chemical new materials. With the supports of independent development of base of products, we now have successfully developed over 130 technical achievements, and obtained 17 technical advancement prizes from provinces and ministries, and 8 certificates of national important new product awards. Moreover, there is a well-trained and skilled R&D team and well-established facilities in our institutes: we are an A-grade consultant in chemical industry, an A-grade engineering designer of chemical industry, and own the designing licenses of I, II, III-class pressure vessels. In addition, we also own the related service certificates and licenses in the fields of information service, product inspection and energy-saving assessment, etc.
There are a lot of key labs and organizations in our institutes now, including: "Creative service platform of MSE in chemical industry of Hubei province" approved by NDRC (National Development and Reform Committee); "Hubei Province Chemical Material Auxiliary Engineering Center" approved by Hubei Province Science & Technology Bureau; "Hubei Province Chemistry & Chemical Industry Searching Retrieval Center"; "Hubei Province Chemical Industry Productivity Promotion Center", "Hubei Province Energy-saving Inspection center" approved by Hubei Province Development and Reform Committee; "Hubei Province MSE Generic Technology & Exclusive Chemicals R&D and Promotion Center" approved by Hubei Province Economic Committee; "Hubei Province Petrochemical Products & Chemical Reagent Quality Supervision Inspection Station" approved by Hubei Province Quality Inspection Bureau and Hubei Province Petrochemical Information center, etc.
Moreover, our institute has founded a series of research and service departments, including: Chemical Industry Engineering Designing Institute, Chemical Industry research Institute, Hubei Province Petrochemical Information Center, Hubei Province Petrochemical Products & Chemical Reagent Quality Supervision Inspection Station, Hubei Province Energy-saving Inspection center, Hubei Province Chemical Industry Productivity Promotion Center, editorial office of Chemistry & Bioengineering, and other wholly-owned or shareholding subsidiaries.
