Main research fields include:

1. Growth regulation substance for insects-- substance similar to insect hormone,anti-insect hormone substance,anti-insect chitinase inhibitor.
2. Insects' behavior control substance--insects' pheromone,insects' sprudamone.
3. Plant growth regulator--the growth regulator making plant grow,take root,bloom and fruit and accelerating vegetable's cell division and controlling the retarding of plants' growing.
4. Growth control substance for noxious plant--sulfonylurea substance,pyrimidinyl salicylic acid etc..
5. Pesticide--insecticide,herbicide,bactericide.
6. Chemical intermediates--sulfanilamide,pyridine and triazine.

The center is operated according to the joint stock system. It has the departments including directorate,experts instruction committee,production control Dept.,Quality control Dept.,Supply Dept.,R & D Dept.,Financial Dept.,Administrative Dept. and Import and Export Dept. Directorate is the policy-making body of the center,in charge of the decisions of important things. Experts instruction committee is the technical instruction organization of this center,made up of famous exports in the fields of agrochem .

"The center" owns chemical laboratory with advanced equipment and most advanced imported analytical instruments:

1. (GC-MS); liquid chromatogram-mass spectrograph(LC-MS)
2. gas chromatograph(GC)
3. liquid chromatograph(HPLC)
4. Fourier infrared(FT-IR)
5. Electronic analysis scale.

Besides,the center owns advanced bibliographic search
network and more complete 185,000 volumes books and materials in Chinese and English. It has well equipped pilot-scale experiment base,which is used as the incubator of transformation of technological achievements. It occupies a total area of 110 mu including over 8,000 square meters building area. Besides,it owns four production lines for agrochem . Yearly production capacity has reached 600T.

The center takes on the innovation,production and industrialization of many new pesticides. By now it has taken on 18 projects,3 of which are national and provincial grade projects,8 of which has received the authentication organized by Jiangsu Science and Technology Office and Changzhou Science and Technology Bureau.

At present the center has formed the development mode of research--production--research. Our company owns self-support import and export authority. In 2001 it received ISO14000 environmental protection quality system certification and the bank credit is AAA grade.
