Established in 1995,Lianyungang Dead Sea Bromine Compounds Co.,Ltd. is a joint-venture between Dead Sea Bromine Group (DSBG) of Israel and lianyungang Marine No.1 Chemical Plant of China. DSBG is the largest bromine and bromine compounds producer in the world. And Marine No.1 was the largest Methyl Bromide producer in China before the joint-venture. The cooperation between the two leading MBr producers has given the J.V. a competitive edge in both domestic and international markets and has contributed to the world in both bromine compounds production and development.

It is widely used for space fumigation, soil fumigation, and intermediates for agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals.
