Fine Chemical Factory of Nanjing Chemical Industry Company is a specialized manufacuturer of water purification chemicals and inorganic iron salt. It is an associate member of the Flocculation Technology Division of Water Treatment Committee, Chinese Society of Chemical Industry, and member of the Water Treatment Chemical Division of the Chemical Standardization Committee of China. It was the first manufacturer of polyferric sulfate in China, and actually took an active part in the compilation of the standard--- "Water purifying agent: polyferric sulfate" (GB14591-93), which was awarded "3rd Prized of Advancement in Science and Technology" in 1996 by the State Bureau of Technical Supervision. The polyferric sulfate has now been widely used in the purification of municipal water, industrial water and waste water in a variety of industries like petro-chemical, metallurgy, dye printing, gas. The solid polyferric sulfate (SPFS) have also undertaken market promotion positively since 1999.

    The company has a water plant capable of producing 50000M3 of water everyday, supplying not only itself but also the local residents. The water plant has been a test lab of the company's new water purification products. It also provides technical services or training programs on water treatment for the local counterparts.

    The company is one of the main provider of ferrous sulfate, the annual output of which reaches 35,000 tons in the brand name nannan^®. The forage grade ferrous sulfate is manufactured under compliance with GB8252-87. It has been recommended by the State Ministry of Agriculture since 1996.
