Performance of Lining Glass
The glass lined equipments are made by coating the high silicon
content enamelonto the surfaces of metal or iron molds and
then baking them at a high temperature (-900) in order to
adhieve a high adhesive strength of the enamel on the modls.
The equipments, therefore, have dual advantages of chemical
stability similar to glass and high strength as metals.
Substituting stainless steel and nonferrous alloys, the glass
lined equipments are widely used in the processes such as
reaction, evaporation, concentration, synthesis, extraction,
polyreaction, saponification, sulphonation, chlorination and
nitrification etc, which are common in the industries of chemistry,
pharmaceutical, dyestuff, pesticide, organic synthesis, petroleum,
food, defence as well as in scientific research practice.
Corrosion Stability very high corrosion resistance against
inorganic acid organic acid, organic solvent with different
concentration and week base, but not applicable to alkali,
hydrogen fluoride, fluoride-bearing medium and phosphoric
acid with concentration above 30% at temperature over 180.
Shock Strength: Mechanical shock strength is 220x10-3J
Be careful not to hit the glass lining with hard matters during
operation.
Insulation:
The enamel surface are strictly tested with high frequency
sparker at 20,000V and passed when conductively-closed.
Temperature Resistance: Thermal shock resistant with
allowable 110 shock chilling and 120 shock heating.
