Properties: Pure compound crystallizes in flake from water or in needle from benzene. Specific gravity: 1.272(at 15°C), melting point: 110°C, boiling point: 276.5°C(at 759.7 mmHg). Easily soluble in water and organic solvents such as alcohol, ether and etc. It will turn to dork red on the exposure to light.
Usage: An important organic raw material of dyes, pharmaceuticals, resins, films, explosives and etc.
