Uses:
Glyoxalic acid is a kind of basic raw material in organic chemical industry. Ethyl vanillin manufactured from it is widely used for adjusting and fixing agent of fragrance, and as daily expenses essence, and to endow food with sweet smeu. In pharmaceutical field, Glyoxalic acid is used in preparing DL-p-hydroxyphenylglycine (raw natural of some penicillin medicine),p-hydroxyphenylacetamide (use to manufacture atisine-working substance of cardiovascular drug and hypertension drug), p-hydroxypenyl acid and DL-p-hydroxyphenylhydantion. Moreover, it also can be used as material of pesticide, or material of water purifier . It also can be used as cross-linking agent of high molecule and plating additive.
