2、Thickness: Less than 10 microns
3、Scale Diameter: 20-400 mesh
4、Specific Gravity: 2.5g/cc
5、Temperature: 300 degrees Celsius without distortion
6、Acid resistant:
In 10% hydrochloric acid at 100 degrees for 24 hours, loss at surface is less than 0.012 mg per cubic centimeter.
In 30% hydrochloric acid at 100 degrees for 24 hours, loss at surface is less than 0.015 mg per cubic centimeter.
7、Alkali resistant:
In 10% NaOH solution for 20 days, loss at surface is less than 0.25 mg per cubic centimeter.
二、Principle of Anticorrosion:
To make glass flake resin anticorrosive coating, a known quantity of glass flake with a certain scale diameter and thickness is uniformly mixed with a known quantity of polyester resin, epoxy resin, and vinyl resin etc respectively according to the processing procedure. Through strict matching technique, the mixture is made into cement or paint, which is then spread on the surface of processed metal or other protective material by tools such as trowel or high-pressure airless sprayer. After solidification at room temperature, undercoat or lining is produced. On a 1mm-thick section, there are up to one hundred flakes of parallel-arranged glass flake. The corrosive medium has to pass by it and then penetrate into next resin layer. According to the example of application in oil tank or pipeline, the anticorrosive life of tanker painted with glass flake resin can reach up to more than 20 years.
三、Application
Squama colophony has wide chemical bearing quality, good hot bearing quality, gas penetrability bearing quality, impregnant bearing quality, so it is widely used in many different fields like oil and petrochemical pipelines, equipment, tank, sewage tank, gas cabinets, marine oil platforms, ships, electricity, chemical industry, flue gas desulfurizating equipment, ect. |
