The Specialty Chemicals Gp of Altana [of Wesel,Germany] has acquired the wax additives portion of Dick Peters B.V.[35 employees]-Denekamp, the Netherlands, for about $25.5M. Wax additives are used in molds for the steel and mechanical engineering industries, and in adhesives and inks. The $28m business will be added to the BYK Additives & Instruments Div. and folded into BYK Cera B.V. [65 employees] located in Deventer, the Netherlands. |
