    3月8日，日本东京的一家生产油墨，涂料和蜡的合资企业东洋PETROLITE有限公司宣布解散，现名为东洋APL公司，为东洋油墨有限公司（全球第三大油墨制造商）的子公司。
Located in Sugarland, TX, the Polymers Group produccs and markets low molecular weight synthetic polymers and hydrocarbon waxes throughout the world. BARECO WAXES include polyethylene wax made from ethylene monomer, high melt and flexible microcrystalline waxes, and F-T wax distributed for Shell MDS for use in inks and coatings, hot melt adhesives and for plastics processing.
Baker’s foundation in MC wax began in the 1930’s by its invention by the original company-Barnsdale Refining Co., and found use in adhesives, candles, chewing gum, coatings, inks, plastics, and personal care products. The Group’s polymer products also include a-olefin copolymers, and olefin/ maleic polymers.
In 1/04, the joint venture[Bareco Products] with Calumet Specialty Products ended with the polymer products folded into BARECO WAXES. In 9/07, Luzzatto-Figlio, and old, well known distributor of low-molecular weight polymers and hydrocarbon waxes in Europe was renamed Baker Petrolite France which is located in Paris.
