International Waxes,INC., a subsidiary of The International Group,INC.(IGI) has announced that the Marshall,TX wax blending plant which was acquired from Honeywell Specialty Waxes and Additives division of Honeywell,INC.was shut down effective September 1,2005.Approximately thirty employees were effected by the shutdown. International Waxes has shifted production previously performed at the Marshall plant to wax manufacturing facilities located in Baytown, TX and Titusville,PA. Customers affected by the changes have been notified. |
