漆树蜡,在日本也称作漆蜡,是从漆树的果皮中榨出来的。漆树和日本蜡树是同类植物,产品在中国广泛使用。用作佛教寺院、以及这些地方的餐厅里的蜡烛。因为它与皮肤的兼容性和可食用性,所以它也用在化妆品、食品表面、铅笔及肥皂等行业。漆树蜡的成分有棕榈酸甘油三酸酯(60%-80%)、油酸甘油酯(4%-8%)、硬脂酸甘油酯(5%-7%)、以及二酸甘油酯(2%)。因为它纯净的气味,所以它也用来制作食品和化妆品。当它用于化妆品时,它和人类的皮肤很相容、很光滑、有高粘性。
Sumac Wax, also called urushi wax in Japan, is extracted from the fruit peel of Sumac Verniciflua Stokes. The fruit peel belongs to the same species as Japanese wax tree and is widely used in China. It is used for Buddhism candles and cooking in these areas. It is used in cosmetics, coatings for food, pencils and soaps due to its compatability with human skin and edibility. Sumac wax is comprised of palmitic acid triglyceride (60%-80%), oleic acid glyceride(4-8%) and stearic acid glyceride(5-7%) and a diacid glyceride(2%), it is used for making food and cosmetic products due to its pure smell. It is highly compatable with human skin and exhibits smoothness, and adhesive character when used in cosmetic.
