Properties: it is easily soluble in water, slightly soluble in acid and aqueous ammonia. Its aqueous solution is acidic.
Applications: mainly used in electroplating, nickel-cadmium battery, organic synthesis, catalyst in painting production. it's the raw material of nickel salt for coloring of metals and additives of reduction dye.
