Intrduction |
Potassium Sulphate is colorless or white hexagonal or rhombic crystal or granular powder. The relative density is 2.662. The inversion point is at 588°C , the melting point is at 1069°C and the boiling point is at 1689°C .It is soluble in water(12g/100ml water at 25°C ;24.1g/100ml water at 100°C) and insoluble in alcohol, acetone and carbon bisulfide. It tastes bitter and salty. |
