With a registered fund of CNY 130 millions, Shanxi Jinneng Group Datong Energy Source Development Co., Ltd. (as Daneng for short) was one of top-100 enterprises in Shanxi province. Established in January, 2001, Daneng is a specialized manufacturer and trader of power generation/supply products, heat supply products, graphite electrodes, manganese-silicon and metallic silicon. We now have 4 subsidiaries, including Thermal Electricity Co., Ltd., Carbon Element Branch, Industrial Silicon Co., Ltd. and Manganese Industry Co., Ltd. Daneng and all 4 subsidiaries have obtained the integrating certificates of "Quality, environment and security" successfully. In 2008, we ranked 30th in top-100 manufacturing enterprises of Shanxi province. Equipped with 270MW of power unit, we yearly produce 1.5 billion KWh of powers and 4 million GJ of heats; moreover, we annually produce 23,000 tons of graphite electrodes (high power and ultra high power), 65,000 tons of manganese-silicon and 20,000 tons of metallic silicon.

Thermal Electricity Co., Ltd. was registered and established in October, 2003. About 7km away from the downtown of Datong city, our 2×135MW combined thermal power generation unit is a key part of Datong electric network and a heat source of concentrated heating supply network of Datong city. As a heat source point of squatter settlement reforming project, we are working hard on the declaration of 2×300MW combined thermal power generation unit, which has been reported to National Development and Reform Committee of China and awaiting approval.

Located in Baoziwang town, Xinrong district in Datong city, Carbon Element Branch is the earliest graphite electrode manufacturer of China, with a history of more than 6 decades. At present, Carbon Element Branch mainly produces 4 series of (normal power, high power, near ultra high power and ultra high power) and over 30 kinds and specification (350mm-∮600mm) of graphite electrodes, with an annual output of 18,000 tons. They now are well sold in over 20 provinces and cities of China, some of them are exported to USA, EU, Brazil, The Middle East and Southeast Asia, etc. We are one of 3 biggest manufacturers in carbon element industry of China, and one of 4 manufacturers with independent intellectual property rights in China for ultra high power graphite electrodes. In 2006, Carbon Element Branch successfully became the executive chairman of carbon element industry of China. Our "Huoyun" graphite electrodes are the famous brand products of Shanxi province.

Industrial Silicon Co., Ltd. is located in Wangjiayuan Village, Pingwang town, Nanjiao district in Datong city. Established in July, 2003, Industrial Silicon Co., Ltd. is one of first–batch 70 permission enterprises in ferroalloy industry of China. Now, we are mainly engaged in the production and trade of metallic silicon, ferro silicon alloy, manganese-silicon and Silica Fume. In 2005, our company ranked top position in all declaration enterprises in Shanxi province for the production permission of ferro silicon alloy, with a comprehensive score of 470. Because all our discharge indexes of industrial pollution sources passed the inspections of Shanxi Environmental Protection Bureau, our company became the first all-qualified manufacturing enterprise in Datong city for the discharge of industrial pollution sources. Now, our "Jinneng" industrial silicon is the famous brand product of Shanxi province.

Established by Industrial Silicon Co., Ltd in April, 2007, Datong Jinneng Manganese Industry Co., Ltd. now is a manufacturer and trader of manganese-silicon. Equipped with two sets of 16500KVA Submerged Arc Smelting Furnaces, we annually produce 60,000 tons of manganese-silicon. As the famous brand product of Shanxi province, our "Jinneng" manganese-silicon series are well sold in all large-scale steel companies of China, and are well sold in Australia, Southeast Asia and Europe, etc. Customers are highly satisfied with our products now!
