Physical Properties: Epichlorohydrin is colorless transparent liquid with irritative scent and low viscosity, highly volatile, slightly soluble in water, freely soluble in alcohol, aether, benzene and other organic solvent.

Use: Epichlorohydrin is an important chemical materials, mainly used in producing epoxy resin, glycerine and nitroglycerine explosive, glass fibre reinforced plastic, insulation product. It is also used as the solvent of cellulose ester, resin and cellulose ether, and used as materials for plasticizer, stabilizer, surface active agent and chlorohydrin rubber.

Packing: In railway tank car or zinc coated iron pail, each 200kg in net weight.

Warning: Epichlorohydrin is flammable and gives off chlorine hydride after combustion, carbonyl chloride and carbon monoxide. Its number in dangerous articles regulations is 62008. It is secondary inflammable liquid.

Storage and Transportation: Stored in dry and ventilated place; the temperature should be kept under 40°C; Keep free form fire, flameproof, and the storage, transportation equipment and environment should be qualified. Handle with care in load and unload, keep free from bounce, sunshine and rain.
