May 12, 2006, a contract concerning the supply of engineering by Asia Chemical, of a detergent powder plant of 20 t/h in capacity, and a sodium silicate (water glass) plant with capacity of 50,000 t/a, was signed with Licheng Industrial Co., Ltd. Hunan, China. Mr. Zhou and Mr. Zhang, the chief engineers, on behalf of Asia Chemical , were present at the signing ceremony held in Hunan . In this project, most up-to-date technologies in the world, such as spray drying without fines, wet scrubbing of exhaust air, and high-density pneumatic transportation of solid materials etc., will be used.

April 21,2006 , Mr. Ersin, the sales manager of Bebek Co., Turkey , was coming to visit Asia Chemical discussing possibilities of importing chemical raw materials from China . Exchange of views on details was carried out. Intention of cooperation was agreed on.

April 20, 2006 , a contract of supplying complete SO 3 sulfonation plant by Asia Chemical was finally signed with Rhymer Co. Bangladesh. This project is a turnkey project.

April 20,2006 , the detergent plant in Somali put into normal production that day. This is a turnkey project, and the first industrial project in Somali as well, supplied by Asia Chemical , The president of Somali and 300 or more correspondents from Western countries attended at the ribbon-cutting opening ceremony held at the plant site. Mr. Zhou Dezhao, the chief engineer of Asia Chemical attended the ceremony. There is almost in fact no any industrial facility because of continuous chaos of wars in Somali. The technicians from Asia Chemical working in this difficult environment, in 6 months, set up a modern detergent plant. This miracle clearly demonstrates to the public the capability of Asia Chemical.

April 15, 2006 , 3 people headed by Mr. Zhang, the chief engineer of Asia Chemical, took part in the engineering project bidding conference, concerning a 80,000 t/a detergent plant, a 20,000 t/a Water glass plant, and a 20,000 t/a liquid detergent plant in Shanwei Oil & Fats Chemical Corporation, Shenyang , China . There were 4 companies taking part in the bidding. Through the competition was not so severe, Asia Chemical won the bidding at once with large superiority. In this project the latest technologies, such as totally new spray-drying technique, and fines and heat recovery from exhaust air will be applied to cut down production cost and increase profits.

March 2, 2006 , a delegation with 3 members headed by Mr. Li, the chief of Equipment Department of Licheng Industrial Co., Ltd. Hunan , China , paid a business visit to Asia Chemical . The two parties exchanged views on technical matters concerning the scheduled 20 t/h detergent plant and 50,000 t/a water glass plant. The Licheng Industrial Co., Ltd. is one of public-owned detergent enterprises in China with high economical benefits, which has long-term cooperation relations with Asia Chemical . Both parties agreed to have further comprehensive cooperation.

Feb.10, 2006, a delegation with 3 members headed by Mr. Xiang Hongyue, the president of Asia Chemical , paid a visit to Iran as invited by Iran Detergent Industry Co., Ltd. There were negotiations on further cooperation with 3 detergent plants in Iran .

Feb.7, 2006, a delegation with 2 members, headed by Mr. Awjad, the director of Al-Tariq , Iraq , was paying a visit to Asia Chemical . Current situation in Iraq , and the feasibility of setting up a detergent powder plant in Iraq were discussed.
