                  Properties: white crystalline or granular powder. Melting
                    point: 201°C (decompose). Soluble in water (3g/100ml,
                    20°C), soluble in boiling water easily  
        (20g/100ml), pH
        of solution is 6-7, insoluble in ethanol and organic solvents.  
                  Uses: It can be used as drug to lower penetration of blood
                    capillary, increase density, keep normal excitability between
                    nerve and muscle, improve contractility of cardiac muscle
                    and help the growth of bone. It can be used in the therapy
                    of allergic diseases such as urticaria, eczema, skin pruritus,
                    contact dermatitis and serum sickness. It also can be used
                    in angioedema as adjuvant. It can be used in twitch caused
                    by low blood calcium and magnesium poison, it also can be
                    used in the preventation and therapy of calcifames. It can
                    be used as food additive, buffer, curing agent, chelating
                    agent, nutrition reinforcing agent, According to the "application
                    health standard of food nutrition enhancer" from
                    Ministry of Health 1993, it can be used in corns, their products
                    and beverage, the dosage is 18 to 38g/kg.
