Building Material Additives
Additives alter and improve the physical and processing characteristics of building materials. Modern construction systems are inconceivable without chemical additives.
We offer three categories of building material additives:
Methyl cellulose (MC), MHEC, MHPC for ready-mix dry mortars and dispersion based systems (e.g. emulsion paints and plasters/renders)
Dry mortar building materials are mixtures consisting of mineral-based binders, aggregates and additives. They are transported to the building site in bags or silos where they are mixed with water, either by hand or machine, and are then applied. Currently, dry mortar technology is the most efficient and effective method of processing building materials.
Joinway CE Division offers a wide range of Joincel construction-grades so that for every conceivable situation the right product is available. For dry mortars we offer mainly non-modified Joincel grades (MHEC/MHPC);
