[ Brief introduction ]
It is one kind of modified water soluble Melamine resin with low assay of formaldehyde and high assay of methyl ether. Compared with other Melamine resins, it has higher etherification degree, lower molecular weight and free formaldehyde (≤0.5%), high solid assay and long storage period.

[ Uses ]
• It can be used as stiffening agent of chemical fiber fabrics, with the features as:
• It can reduce the odor pollution of formaldehyde in the stiffening workshop
• There are no residual fishy odor on the fabrics
• No yellow stain, it can resist the bleaching of chlorine.
• Good stiffening capacity, good washing ability
• It can work with other auxiliaries except for basic and oily matter
• Low rebound
• It also can be used as cross-linking agent of acrylic resin emulsion:
• flocking cross-linking agent, it can offer better washing and dry-rub capacity.
• coating printing cross-linking agent . It can improve fastness.
• Water-based coating cross-linking agent . It can offer better washing and water-pressure capacity.
• cross-linking agent of fluorine-grouping waterproof agent. It can offer better washing and
   water-pressure capacity.
• cross-linking agent of fire retarding finishing agent. It can improve the life of fire retarding effects.
• used as fixative of direct dye

[Appearance]: transparent viscose-like liquid
[PH ]: 8-10
[Solid]: 80%±1%
[Solubility]: It can be dissolved in water in any ratio, and form acidic colloid with some kinds of acids.
[Storage period ]: 1 year in 10ºC -21ºC, 3 months in 38ºC, freezed products are usable.

[ Cautions ]
• Used as stiffening agent
• Exclusive catalyst only. Ratio of resin:catalyst =3:1 .
• If it works with catalyst the life of treatment fluid is 5 hours.
• The textile should be clean and not contain acid, alkali, salt, grease or other impurities, which may
  offer bad effects to the penetration of resin.
• The textile should be immersed completely, small dose of penetrant and padding may help.
• Used as cross-linking agent, dosage is 1-5% of adhesive or acrylic resin emulsion
  It may stiffens the textile, do not overdosage
• After process, the textile should be dried completely, or the textiles get bad hardness and cross link
  effects.
• Do not mix it with catalyst, it only can be mixed with catalyst before use.
• It is low formaldehyde resin, but if your fabrics are forbidden from the free formaldehyde, please use
  it carefully. It should not be kept in high temperature.
