Product description:It's soluble in water, methanol, ethanol, propanol, acetic acid and ether, almost insoluble in solvents of hydrocarbon. Glycolic Acid is an important organic intermedium and chemical product which are widely used in adhesives, production of degradable polymers, metal cleaners, electroplating additives, dairy products container cleaner, dyeing additives, well cleaners, oil additives, cosmetics, dust preventive of light-sensitive surface, construction, textiles, detergents, pharma, pesticides, tanning and other fields

mainly used in emulsifier, penetrant, cleaning agent, softeners, lubricants, fungicides, dispersing agent, antistatic agent, hair conditioner,etc.
Chemical industry:
mainly used in emulsifier of polymer materials, mold-release agent of plastics and rubber products, dispersion stabilizer of polymer system, oil displacement additives , petroleum deemulsifier,etc.
Machine industry:
Plating bath additives, metal cleaning fluid additives, metal antifouling treatment agent, metal polish, soldering flux for electronic components, battery electrolyte additives,etc.
Sensitive materials industry:
Photographic film wetting agent, emulsifier, stabilizer, antistatic agent,etc.
Medicine industry:
mainly used in synthesis of synthetic absorbable sutures’ manufacturing and raw material of medical biodegradable polymers.
Textile industry:
mainly used in dyeing additives of wool and acrylic.

Process Description:

Our company uses advanced proprietary process: microbial catalysis for our production. The process described as below: by microbial fermentation to produce the microbe which contains specific nitrilase, And at normal temperature and pressure using this specific nitrilase to catalyse glycolonitrile for getting Glycolic Acid.  Comparing with chemical method, This process has the advantages of specificity of substrate’s selectivity, high purity, mild reaction conditions, simple purification of product, less demanding in equipment, etc.
