Character: white crystal powder. specific gravity(sp.gr) 3.012. melting point:780°C. soluble in hot water, slightly soluble in cold water and inorganic acid. It turns gradually into TiO2 when heated to 500°C in the air.
Usage: as additive used in the manufacture of aluminum-titanium-boron alloys, in the aluminum processing and light metal smelting, as catalyst of the polypropylene synthesis, as analytical reagent.
