| Hunan Warrant Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd, located in the Liuyang Biomedical Park in Changsha, Hunan Province, was founded in April 2001 with RMB 50 million yuan registered capitals. The company is a high-tech enterprise unifying R&D (research and development),producing & marketing of the drugs. It has a wide business scope;the producing and marketing of tablets, hard capsules, granules, medicinal powder, and dry suspensions; the producing and marketing of APIs, chemical materials, pharmaceutical intermediates, food stuffs, health care products and hygienic supplies; the planting and marketing of Chinese medicinal plants;the marketing of some plant extracts & agricultural products and also the R & D, technology transfer and consultation of drugs, some food stuffs, health care products, and hygienic supplies. The company possesses three production bases, located respectively in the Liuyang Biomedical Park in Changsha, Huangxing Town in Changsha, and Binhai Industrial Park in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province. It has five dosageform production lines: tablets, hard capsules, granules, medicinal powder and dry suspensions, and it has three chemical synthetic production lines of APIs;and it also has one health-care food production line. All the above-mentioned production lines have been certificated by the State Drugs and Food GMP, with GMP certificaties. The company maintains an investment of over 10% of its annual amount of sales in the R & D of new drugs, imitative drugs, health supplies, so as to make sure its leading position in the country. By the end of 2008, the company had already declared 95 kinds of new drugs and imitative drugs, and had gained 13 kinds of the New Drug Certificaties.and 42 kinds of the approval documents of production.
