Kunwei pigment is a new pearl pigment, capable of expressing the elegant gloss and color of natural pearl, shell, butterfly, fish and metal. It is a sandwich-like natural mica flakes crystal coated with titanium dioxide and iron oxide. By reflecting, refracting and penetrating, it enables chroma and gloss on surface coating and plastic product. It's nontoxic, heating resistance, Light resistance, alkali resistance, non-allochroic, non-migratory, and nonconductive. Because of all its advantages, Zhuguang pigment has become the most distinguished and promising new product in the present age.

It is a kind of nonmetallic, functional,decorative pigments, supplied as 100% dry powder. Its bulk density and its specific gravity are 0.13-0.35g/cm³ and 3.0g/cm³ respectively. Its heavy metal content(Pb) is less than 20 ppm, and it is non-electric, possessing good dispersibility, high mechanical strength. It displays special luster and color of pearl or metal. Different range of particle size can meet different application's requirements. Small particles exhibit mild luster like silk, while large particles exhibit glittering luster.
