Sealing Titanium (Golden) Colorant (Product No.: YC-01,
YC-02)
YC-01 and YC-02 titanium colorant series are the traditional
titanium products of the company. When activated with
YC-02 and then treated with YC-01, the off-white coloring
system turns golden. The colored aluminum materials
appear wonderful, and they are also more liable to be
decorated.
3.1 Process: pretreatment (emery and
polishing treatment) — anode oxidation —
YC-02 activation — YC-01 coloring — sealing
(no electrophoresis treatment)
3.2 Technical Conditions and Technical Parameters:
3.2.1 Activation: YC-02: 10%(100g/1)
Time: 1-3min (depending on the colored depth)
Temperature: 25-350C
3.2.2 Colorant YC-01: 10%(100g/1)
Voltage: 8-12V
Sulfuric Acid: 10-15g/1
Temperature: 23-260C
Time: 3-5min (depending on the activation time and the
colored depth)
3.3 Routine Control and Consumption:
3.3.1 The activating solution should be replenished
according to the routine production and analysis result.
The normal operation points have 9-10 points. About
8-10kg activating reagent (YC-02) is consumed for the
treatment of 450m2 workpiece (about one ton), and the
activation time affects the colored depth of workpiece.
3.3.2 Colorant assumption: About 2-2.5kg colorant is
consumed for the treatment of 450m2 workpiece (about
one ton of section bars).
3.4 Supplementary Operation:
According to the problems of some customers, such as
the insufficiency of fixed function trough, the requirement
of activation and coloring being carried out in the
same trough when the workpiece needs tint coloring,
and coloring without activation (only tint and medium
color), the technical parameters for the trough are
as follows:
Mixture: 15%(150g/1)
Temperature: 23-260C
Voltage: 9-10V
Consumption: 12-15kg(450m2)
Operation points: 10-12
Determination of titanium salt concentration: 4-5g/1
3.5 Analysis Method: (with the use of 0.1 NNa2S2O3
)
3.5.1 Determination of Activating Solution Trough Index:
3.5.1.1 Analysis method: Add 2ml of activating solution,
and add 50ml of deionized water, then 3-5 drops of 0.1%
bromophenol blue as indicator, and then titrate the
solution with 0.1N NaOH standard solution till the end
point (primrose yellow turns blue). The consumption
volume of 0.1N NaOH standard solution is the trough
