2.Physicochemical properties
Blue shade purple powder, insoluble in water, soluble in benzene, chlorobenzene, xylene, DMF and other organic solvents, in concentrated sulfuric acid turns dark green, Melting point is 189 °C. Heat resistance in PS reaches 300 °C.
3.Use
Mainly used for coloring of various types of resins such as polystyrene, ABS, polyethylene and also for the coloring of polyester fibers puree.
