2.Physicochemical properties
Yellow shade red powder, insoluble in water, soluble in acetone, glycol ether, linseed oil, slightly soluble in benzene, carbon tetrachloride. Melting point is 169°C. Heat-resistance reaches to 280°C.

Mainly used for coloring of various types of plastic, resin, wax, ink and also an important intermediate of synthetic fuels and organic pigment.
