1) Basic chemical industry: making metal sodium, sodium bichromate, manganese carbonate, sodium hydrosulphite etc.
2) Chemical pesticide industry: making sodium pentachlorophenol, 1650, 1059 etc.
3) Medicine industry: making medicine like sulphanilamide, penicillin and streptomycin, vitamin B and C, and fine fish liver oil etc.
