Bleaching Powder
1. Characteristic: It is a white powder with chlorine odour and choking odour
2. Uses:
1) Used widely in paper, cotton spinning, pulp as refined bleaching agent.
2) Used widely in flowing water, public places and vegetable as disinfectant and germicide.
3) Used in agriculture as disinfectant for soil, herbicide and insecticide.
4) Used in industry for preparation of trichloromethane, trichloronitromethane and acetylene, and for refining petroleum.
3. Packing: packed by three-layer bag, whose outer layer is a bag pressed with kraft paper and knitting and whose inner layer is a plastic bag, with net weight of 25 kg per bag.
4. Store and transport: placed and transported in dry, cool and clean place, and prevented from direct sunshine, clashing and throwing, and kept away from acidity substance, inflammable and explosive substance, reductive agent, foodstuff, metal components and cylinders of compressed gas in the same place.
