ⅠChemical Name: Mono-hydrous trisodium 2-hydroxy
propane-1,2,3-tricarboxylate potassium citrate.
Molecular Formula:
K3C6H5O7·H2O
ⅡMolecular Weight: 324.41
ⅢProperties: White crystal or
powder; odourless; taste salty; slightly deliquescence;
readily soluble in water or glycerine, almost insoluble in
ethanol (Relative density 1.98, it will melt and decompose
when heated to 230℃) .
ⅣQuality
standard: GB14889-94, BP93/98,
E332
ⅤApplication: In food processing industry,it is used as buffer
agent ,chelate agent, stabilizer, antibiotic oxidizer,
emulsifier, flavor regluator, used in dairy product, jellies,
jam, meat, tinned pastry. Used as emulsifier in cheese and
used in citrus freshening. In pharmaceutical, it is used for
curing hypokalimia, potassium depletion and alkalization of
urine.
ⅥPacking: It is packed with polyethylene bag as liner and a
compound plastic woven bag as the outer layer. The net weight
of each bag is 25kg.
ⅦStorage and
transport: Kept in tightly-closed
containers, it should be stored in a dry and ventilative
warehouse, kept away from moisture and hot. Furthermore, it
