Use:The resin is a kind of thermosetting furane resin,The mechanical property of which is good.It applies on iron,wood or brick with high bonding strength,which has good heat resisting property and the maximum working temperature can reach 190°C.It also has good water resisting property and can alo resist corrosion of all organic solvents.It is acid resistant and alkali resistant.It can be used in:
?Bonding agent is prepared from furfuryl alcohol and powder of celadon rock with hydrochlonic acid as firming agent,The bonding strength can reach 2.4 megapoise.As a paintcoat of the nonmetallic material,it can resist corrosion caused by corrodent and thus reduces the permeahility of the equipment.
?Impermeable graphite can be made by soaking graphite in furfuryl alcohol resin.
?Furfuryl alcohol resin glue is prepared by adding 20% of acetone in furfuryl alcohol rein and with benzene sulfouic acid as the hardening agent.when the wood is bonded with it,the glue strength is high and the water resistance is good.
?Metal corrosion-resisting coat can be prepared from furfuryl acohol resin mixed with asbestos fibre and powder of celadon rock with sulfuric acid and benzene sulfonic acyl chlorides as firming agent and adding small amount of plasticizer.
?Glass fibre reinforced plastic equipment can be made furfuryl alcohol resin,glass fibre,oleic acid,benzene sulfouic acid,benzene sulfouic acyl chlorides and acetone in ratio of 100:100:2:0.5:3.5:40.
?Asbestos furfuryl alcohol reinforcing plastics can be made by pressing the following materials:furfuryl alccohol as bonding agent,as bestos fibre as packing,and P-benzene sulfonic acyl chlorides with proper amount of stearic acid.
