Alkyl polyglucosides series (APG0814)
Example of applications:
APG0814 combines excellent foaming and hydrotroping properties of APG0810 and superior emulsifying and thickening properties of APG1214. As an APG product.
APG0814 is mild and readily biodegradable. It is widely used in the following areas: personal care products and household detergents: such as shampoo, body-cleanser, cream rinses, hand sanitizer and dishwashing, etc; hard surface cleaning; scouring agents in textile industry with alkaline stability and high temperature resistance.
Due to the presence of magnesium oxide (max. 200ppm) and the high pH value, turbidity, which has no negative effects on performance, may occur when the product is stored at room temperature. When the pH value is adjusted to neutral, its turbidity disappears.
There may be sedimentation depending on storage time. In this case, the product should be heated and stirred until uniform before use.

Notice:
When APG products were stored at room temperature, there would be crystalline precipitate or turbidity due to the presence of alkyl mono-glucoside and MgO or at high pHs, which had no negative impacts on the properties. When neutralized to pH 7, the turbidity would vanish. APG1214 should be heated to 45°C-50°C and mixing uniform before use. APG0810 can be prepared according to customers needs (actives 70±2%, pH: 7-10.0).
