Usage: |
Used as auxiliary polymerization agents and adhesive; used in organic Synthesis. Fireproof Polyvinylidene chloride can be obtained from the copolymer of 1,1-dichloroethylene (at least 80%). vinylidene chloride polymerize with acrylate, acrylonitrile, butadiene, acrylate and styrene can form all kinds of synthetic resin. Vinylidene chloride resin can be processed into fibers or films, used as the surface coating of paper or plastic film. Polyvinylidene chloride fiber can be used to produce fabrics, tents, insect nets, car seat and so on. Polyvinylidene chloride film's permeability and moisture permeability are lower than other plastic film, so it is suitable for food packaging. The polymerization of 1,1-dichloroethylene and methyl acrylate or methyl methacrylate copolymer can be used in film industry. |
Storage: |
Vinylidene chloride should be stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area in tightly sealed containers, far away from fire and heat. The storage temperature should not exceed 30℃ and the substance can not be exposed to air. It should be stored separately from oxidizers, acids and bases. Do not store it for extended periods of time, as it will deteriorate. |
Packagiing: |
The substance is packed in a small open steel drum or steel cylinder. |
Transportation: |
Precautions: Railway transportation should be conducted strictly in accordance with Rules for Transport Dangerous Goods by the Ministry of Railways when loading the goods. Transportation vehicles should be equipped with an appropriate variety and quantity of fire safety equipment and emergency equipment in case of leakage. It is better to transport in the morning or evening in summer. The transport (tank) cars should be grounded and have partitions with holes in them in order to reduce static electricity. It is Strictly prohibited to transport this substance together with oxidizers, acids, bases and other food chemicals. The transportation car should have measures in place to prevent exposures to rain and high temperatures. Keep far away from fire, heat and hot spaces when stopping over. The exhaust pipe should be equipped with fire retarding devices. Handling and loading equipment that easily produce sparks are prohibited. Strictly followed the provided road transport routes, do not stay in residential areas or densely populated areas. Sliding on railways are prohibited. The use of wooden or cement bulk transportation is forbidden. |
