and explosion. The normal operation of the electric
apparatus is vulnerable to the static electricity,
and the case goes on and on. The National Standard
GB15599 provides that the surface resistivity of the
interior coating for the oil tank should be less than
108 ohm,and the volumn resistivity should
be less than 108 ohm, GB/T 16906-1997 stipulated
the testing method of the static-conductivities for
the petroleum tank,antistantic paint . The ASTM F150-98
stipulated the testing of anti-static floor resistivity.
Consequently, the anti-static paints is inceasingly
applied in the coating of oil-storing or transporting
facilities as well as the floor coating of semiconductor
manufacturing factory, computer room, and printing
and textile industry, etc..
Osaka Paint produces antistatic paint

such as epoxy and polyurethane etc. may be employed
according to the given application. For example, it
is recomended to use oil&solvent-resistant multifunctional
phenolic epoxy resin in interior coating of oil tank,
which would form into highly cross-link grid structure
after solidified through reacting with amine solidifier.
while polyurethane resin is also applicable. The epoxy
resin is generally used in antistatic floor coating,
which is processed into a solvent or solvent-free
self-leveling epoxy antistactic floor paints.
The series of paint may be classifed
according to the electric conductive medium as follows:
carbon-series conductive paints, metal-powder-series
conductive paints (such as zinc and silver powder
paints), and light-color composite conductive paints,
etc.. Though the color range is limited by the
conductive medium, the application requirements are
generally satisfied.
