Hazards identification:
Eyes: Causes severe eye irritation.

Ingestion: Causes irritation, a burning sensation of the mouth
and throat, and abdominal pain.
Chronic: Prolonged exposure may cause dermatitis, defatting
of the skin.
First aid measure:
Eyes: Flush with water or saline for 15 minutes. Get medical
aid.
Skin: Wash skin with soap and water for 15 minutes. Get medical
aid.
Inhalation: Immediately remove from exposure to fresh air.
If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical aid.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. If conscious, give 1-2
glasses of water. Get medical aid.
Fire fighting measure:
Extinguisher media: carbon dioxide, dry chemical, chemical
foam.
The following procedure is recommended.
1. Evacuate fire position.
2. Limit the fire at where it is.
3. Extinguish fire.
Take precaution for the hazardous gas that may produce during
fire fighting, eg. HBr, CO, CO2.
Accidental release measure:
Eliminate flame, if any, and provide adequate ventilation.
Evacuate the position. Wear personal protection. Stop the
leakage or spill with appropriate measures.
Ecological Information:
1. Use sand, earth or other inert absorbent in case of release.
2. Avoid runoff into waterways.
3. Inform local environmental protection agency if needed.
Disposal:
Dispose of in accordance with all local, provincial and state
regulations.
