Summary: "Songxue" β-glucanase is produced using the trichoderma reesei strain through submerged fermentation. It can degrade legumes seeds, konjac floor and variety of microbial cell wall polysaccharides to glucose and many other oligosaccharides. So it can be widely used in feed, food, oil exploitation, papermaking, etc.

Enzyme activity unit definition: One enzyme activity unit is the amount of β-glucanase required to hydrolyze carob bean gum and generate 1mg reducing sugar in a hour under 70℃,pH 3.5.
II. Application and dosage
1. Feed industry: Effectively hydrolyze anti-nutritional factors mannan in feed, reduce digest viscosity, help the absorption of nutrients, decompose plant cell wall, promote the release of other nutrients in plant cell, improve nutrient utilization in raw materials, promote the growth of beneficial bacterias in animal stomach and inhibit the breeding of harmful bacterias, improve the animal immunity and survival rate.
2. Food industry: In an extremely mild condition, it can soften the organization, hydrolyze cell wall, fully release the active ingredient for extraction, reduce extract viscosity and increase product yield.
3. Oil exploration: mannanase is a high quality bio-gelbreaker for petroleum fracturing fluids. It has the advantages of high efficiency, low cost, wide application scope and small formation damage.
4. Papermaking industry: Has synergy with other hemicelluloses in paper treatment to significantly improve paper quality and reduce environmental pollution.
5. Dosage: For animal feed, the reference dosage is 1-10U and for other industries, the dosage can be increased according to specific situation.
III. Packing, storage and transportation
Packing: solid, plastic inner bag and woven outer bag, net weight 20kg; liquid, 25kg bucket
Transportation: Transport and store in a cool and dry place and prevent from rain and sunlight. Liquid will retain no less than 90% activity for a period of up to 3 months if sealed at the temperature ≤15℃. Solid, if stored in dry and cool place at room temperature, will retain 90% of activity for a period of up to 6 months.
IV. Precautions
1. Prevent from direct sunlight and rain; no storage or transportation with toxic material.
2. Avoid kicking up, inhaling dust and contact with mucosa or skin. Once contact, rinse with water immediately. Keep container closed when not in use to avoid damp affection.
