Enzyme activity unit definition: 1 enzyme activity unit is the amount of xylanase required to hydrolyze xylan solution releasing 1¦ÌMol reduce sugar in 1 minute under 37¡æ, pH 5.5.
II. Applications and using methods
1. Feed: Effectively reduce the anti-nutritional factor xylan in plant feed, decrease the viscosity of chyme. Increase the release rate of nutrients from plant cell and more effectively utilize the nutrients in the feed. Improve the immune system, increase the number of beneficial microorganism in the digestive tract of the animal, and thereby reduce the number of harmful bacteria and increase animal survival rate. Promote feed digestibility and absorption and thus reduce per unit cost of the feed. Reduce environmental pollution by increasing the absorption of nitrogen and phosphorus. So it is widely used in feed.
2. Food: Soften Under a extremely mild condition, the organization, hydrolyze cell wall, fully extract effective substances, reduce the viscosity of the extracts and improve the product yield.
3. Has synergy with pectinase in fruit juice production. Can degrade arabinoxylan, improve concentrating speed, reduce cleaning time and significantly improve product yield and quality.
4. It can use corn cob to producexylose for the main composition of corn cob is hemicellulose xylan, xylanase can break down it to oligosaccharide and xylose that can be used as food additive and pharmaceutical products.
5. Using methods and dosage: Suggested dosage is 1-5u per gram of feed. For optimal result, experiments with the enzyme may be carried out to adjust the dosage accordingly. The product should be thoroughly mixed with feed. The suggested dosage in other industries is 5-10u/gram materials.
III. Packing, storage and transportation
Packing: solid sealed in plastic inner bag and woven outer fabric, net weight 20kg; liquid sealed in 25kg/bucket.
Storage and transportation: Transport and store in cool and dry place and provent from rain and sunlight.
Under 25¡æ, it will retain its full activity for a period of up to 1 year. If mixed with feed and stored in a cool and dry place, it will retain its full activity for a period of up to 6 months.
IV. Precautions
1. Avoid direct sunlight, rain and mixture with toxic materials;
2. Avoid stirring up and inhaling the dust from the product. Keep it away from the mucus membrane and skin. If contact occurs, rinse with clean water immediately. After use, reseal the bag or bucket to prevent absorption of moisture in the air.
