Properties
This product is white powder, density: 0.66 g/cm³, and is melting and decomposition at 275°C. It can soluble in diethyl ether, THF and fatty amine. It is stable in dry air, and will hydrolyze in the damp air. When the PH>7, it can soluble in water slowly, however quick reaction in acidic medium. This product is a kind of reducing agent, and the reducing power between NaBH4 and LiAlH4.
Usage
Used as reducing agent in organic synthesis, it can reduce aldehydes, ketones and esters, etc. Used as reducing agent for synthetising Ticagrelor and Darunavir intermediates.
