Properties
The pure substance of this product is white solid. The product is soluble in toluene solution. Its decomposition temperature is 205°C, the proportion: 1:12.  In dry environment, it can be stored for a long time and does not react with oxygen.  It is a powerful hydride reductant that can reduce carboxylic acid anhydride and lactone into dihydric alcohol, and also can reduce carboxylic acid anhydride, lactone and most organic compounds containing nitrogen into the corresponding amines.
Usage
This product is a reducing agent that has a unique activity in organic chemistry system. For most applications, this product can be interchangeable with LiAlH4. This product is easy to disposal, and has high reducibility.  The main industrial uses are: reduction of organic functional groups, and react as catalyst in Grignard reaction.
