Project name: Manufacturing
Strontium carbonate at a yearly production capacity
of 30,000 tons, and thiourea at a yearly production
capacity of 10,000 tons.
Background: Strontium
carbonate is made from mixing carbon dioxide and celestite
together, and heating them in a calcium carbide furnace
to bring about carbon reduction. Total investment
and composite cost of the products can be reduced
with present infrastructure and implementing machinery
that can produce cement from solid wastes at 200,000
tons/year. This project is in accordance with relevant
industrial policies of our country, and relies on
the rich resources within the Ningxia region.
Technical proposal:
Strontium carbonate(technical grade): 25,000 tons/year(product
quality meets HG/T2969-1999 standards):Strontium carbonate
(electronic grade):5,000 tons/year;thiourea (technical
grade) 5,000 tons/year (product quality meets ZBG17013-88
standards): high-grade thiourea produced at 5,000
tons/year.
Preliminary preparation:
Factory floor plans have been designed and civil engineering
has started.
Investment and financial analysis:
Total investment for this project is RMB 89.95 million
yuan, including RMB 61.55 million yuan in fixed investments.
Our goal of RMB 239.69 million yuan of sales revenues
can should be achieved, provided everything proceeds
as planned. Investment recovery period: 3.9 years.
