Project name: Boosting the yearly production rate of Calcium cyanamide up to 100,000 tons.

Background: Calcium cyanamide is also called granular lime-nitrogen. It can be used as a pesticide, herbicide, and bactericide. It is widely used with many kinds of plants. But problems of acidification, hardening and structural deterioration of the soil have been associated with the overuse of nitrogenous fertilizers in Japan, Germany and the US. Through many years of research, granule lime nitrogen has been considered an effective product for solving this problem.

Darong Company has successfully done pilot studies using granulated calcium cyanamide. A calcium cyanamide production plant producing 25,000 tons/year has been established. Our product's properties and effectiveness are superior to those of similar products in the world. At present, this product has received ISO9002 international quality system certification.

Technical proposal:

2. Production specifications: Q/NDR 002-1998 enterprise standard Total nitrogen content 21.0%, calcium cyanamide 40.0%, free calcium carbide 0.2% ,granule intensity: 50N

Preliminary preparation:
All necessary technical preparations have been completed.

Investment and financial analysis:
Total investment for this project is RMB 230 million yuan, including RMB 194 million yuan of fixed assets. We expect sales revenues to increase at 205.30 million yuan per year, with yearly profits and tax turnover revenues at RMB 60.70 million yuan.
