PEG 75 is an ethoxylated condensate with a mean chain length of 75 ethylene oxide units. It is water soluble and acts as a moisturizer and conditioner with a mild cleansing action and is liquid at room temperature, having been pre-blended into a 50 % water solution for ease of handling..
Found in many aqueous preparations such as shampoos, conditioners and washing liquids. Safe to use as it is non- irritating to the skin or the eyes in Draize tests and having acute oral toxicity being too low to measure.
